الشركة المصرية للاتصالات تعلن عن تغيير في مجلس إدارتها

تعلن الشركة المصرية للاتصالات عن قيام الحكومة المصرية – المساهم الرئيسي بنسبة ملكية ٨٠% – بتغيير بعض ممثليها في مجلس الإدارة بموجب قرار السيد/ رئيس مجلس الوزراء على أن يسري هذا القرار من تاريخه وحتي نهاية المدة المتبقية لمجلس الإدارة . وقد عقد مجلس الإدارة إجتماعاً اليوم وقام بالموافقة على تعيين المهندس/ عادل حامد عضوا منتدباً ورئيساً تنفيذياً للشركة. يأتي هذا القرار تماشياً مع خطة الدولة لدفع المبادرة القومية للتحول الرقمي حيث تلعب الشركة المصرية للاتصالات دوراً استراتيجياً لتسهيل وتعجيل عميلة التحول للدولة، كما تعزز الإيرادات الجديدة لتلك الخدمات من إمكانات النمو في نشاط الشركة الأساسي. جاء إختيار أحد أبناء الشركة المصرية للإتصالات لتولي منصب الرئيس التنفيذي تأكيداً للثقة الممنوحة في كوادر الشركة ، حيث تتطلب المرحلة القادمة الإلمام الكامل بجميع أمور الشركة وتفاصيلها التشغيلية.
تم تعيين كل من السادة التالي أسمائهم كممثلين جدد للحكومة في مجلس إدارة الشركة :
- اللواءأ ح / طارق محمد عبد الله الظاهر خلفاً للسيد اللواء أ ح / أشرف محمد سعيد حليم إسماعيل محمد فريد
- السيد المهندس/ عادل حامد إبراهيم جاد الله خلفاً للسيد المهندس/ أحمد محمد حمدي البحيري
- السيد المهندس / حسام عبد اللاه شعبان موسي الجمل خلفاً للسيد المهندس/ عمرو عبد الرشيد منصور
وقد علق الدكتور ماجد عثمان رئيس مجلس إدارة الشركة قائلاً:
جاء اختيار مجلس الإدارة للسيد المهندس/ عادل حامد عضوا منتدباً ورئيساً تنفيذاً للشركة المصرية للاتصالات لخبرته الطويلة والمميزة وسجله الحافل الذي يؤهله لتوجيه الشركة نحو التحول الرقمي. حيث أهلته خلفيته ودوره الريادي في وحدة أعمال المشغلين و أعمال أنظمة الكوابل الدولية وشغله لمنصب نائب الرئيس التنفيذي لشئون الدولى والمشغلين ليكون المرشح المثالي للعمل على الاستفادة من أصول الشركة المصرية للاتصالات و تعظيم عائدتها في أطر تطبيق استراتيجية التحول الرقمي. أود أن أشكر السادة أعضاء مجلس الإدارة السابقين لمجهوداتهم التي أضافت للشركة الكثير ، كما أتوجه بالشكر للسيد المهندس أحمد البحيري لقيادته الناجحة للشركة خلال تحولها لمشغل اتصالات متكامل.
وقد علق السيد المهندس عادل حامد العضو المنتدب والرئيس التنفيذي للشركة المصرية للاتصالات قائلاً:
“اريد أن أعبر عن شكري وامتناني للسادة رئيس وأعضاء مجلس الإدارة لثقتهم البالغة في شخصي وأتطلع لتكريس كافة جهودي وطاقتي لدفع هذه الشركة الناجحة بالفعل لتحقيق أهدافها. نحن في وقت مهم في تطور قطاع الاتصالات وسوف أعتمد على فريق متميز من العاملين بالشركة المصرية للاتصالات لتحقيق الاستفادة المثلى من الفرص المتاحة وتحقيق مزيداَ من النمو اعتمادا على نقاط قوتنا و ترابطنا. كما أحب أن اتوجه بالشكر للإدارة التنفيذية للشركة وكل الرؤساء التنفيذيين السابقين و بالأخص السيد المهندس أحمد البحيري و الذي قام بمجهودات كبيرة لتطوير قطاعات الشركة المختلفة ومما يضع على عاتقي مسئولية استكمال تلك المجهودات في ضوء الاستراتيجية العامة التي تنتهجها الشركة المصرية للاتصالات. “
Telecom Egypt announces a change in its BoD
The government of Egypt, being Telecom Egypt’s major shareholder with an ownership of 80%, has announced changing some of its representatives in Telecom Egypt’s Board of Directors by a decree from the Egyptian Prime Minister with immediate effect and for the remaining period of Board of Directors. The Board of Directors held a meeting today and appointed Eng. Adel Hamed as the new Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer. The decision comes in line with the Egyptian government’s plan to speed up the national digital transformation initiative, where Telecom Egypt has a strategic role in facilitating and accelerating such transformation for the country. In addition, the new revenue streams from the project are expected to boost the company’s organic growth potential. Hamed’s appointment comes as a result of the trust in Telecom Egypt’s internally developed caliber and their execution ability as the next phase of growth requires the complete awareness of the company’s operational details.
The new members of the BoD representing the government include:
- Major General\Tarek Mohamed Abdollah Al Zaher replacing Major General \Ashraf Mohamed Said Halim Mohamed Farid
- Eng\ Adel Hamed Ibrahim Gadalla replacing Eng\ Ahmed Mohamed Hamdy El Beheiry
- Eng\ Hossam Aballah Shaaban Mousa El-Gamal replacing Eng\ Amr Abdel Rasheed Mansour
Magued Osman, Chairman of Telecom Egypt, said:
“The Board of Directors has chosen Adel Hamed as Chief Executive Officer due to his long-established experience and proven track record to steer the company towards digital transformation. Hamed’s background and key role in Telecom Egypt’s domestic wholesale and international cable systems as the Chief International & Wholesale Officer position him as the ideal candidate to capitalize on Telecom Egypt’s assets to implement the digital transformation strategy. I would like to thank Telecom Egypt’s former directors of the board for their efforts in adding value to the company and Mr. Ahmed El Beheiry for leading the company successfully in its transformation to a total telecom operator.”
Adel Hamed, Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer, added:
