مصر تشارك في الاجتماع الأول لفريق عمل الاقتصاد الرقمي لمجموعة العشرين

تشارك مصر، ممثلة في وزارة الاتصالات وتكنولوجيا المعلومات، في الاجتماع الأول لفريق عمل الاقتصاد الرقمي لمجموعة العشرين، الذي يُعقد خلال الفترة من 30 إلى 31 يناير في طوكيو، باليابان. وهو اجتماعًا تحضيريًا للاجتماع الوزاري لمجموعة العشرين بشأن التجارة والاقتصاد الرقمي، والذي سيعقد يومي 8 و9 يونيو 2019، في تسوكوبا، إيباراكي، باليابان.
وسيجتمع قادة مجموعة العشرين في مدينة أوساكا حيث تستضيف اليابان قمة مجموعة العشرين يومي 28 و29 يونيو 2019.
وبالتزامن مع اجتماع القمة، سينعقد أيضًا اجتماع وزراء المالية ومحافظي البنوك المركزية، واجتماع وزراء الخارجية، وعدد آخر من الاجتماعات الوزارية التي ستنعقد في ثمانية مواقع مختلفة في اليابان، بما في ذلك الاجتماع الوزاري لمجموعة العشرين بشأن التجارة والاقتصاد الرقمي.
ومشاركة مصر في هذه الاجتماعات التحضيرية ذات أهمية بالغة، في ضوء رئاستها للاتحاد الإفريقي، لعام 2019.
جدير بالذكر أن قمة مجموعة العشرين للأسواق المالية والاقتصاد العالمي تُعقد كل عام لمناقشة القضايا الحاسمة التي تؤثر على الاقتصاد العالمي، وهي تجمع بين أعضاء مجموعة الدول الصناعية السبع (فرنسا والولايات المتحدة والمملكة المتحدة وألمانيا واليابان وإيطاليا وكندا والاتحاد الأوروبي)، وكذلك الأرجنتين وأستراليا والبرازيل والصين والهند وإندونيسيا والمكسيك وجمهورية كوريا وروسيا والمملكة العربية السعودية وجنوب إفريقيا وتركيا.
Egypt Partakes in First Meeting of G20 Digital Economy Task Force
Egypt, represented by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT), is partaking in the First Meeting of G20 Digital Economy Task Force (DETF), held on January 30-31, in Tokyo, Japan. The meeting is held as a preparatory meeting for the G20 Ministerial Meeting on Trade and Digital Economy, which will be held on 8-9 June 2019, in Tsukuba, Ibaraki Prefecture, Japan.
On 28-29 June 2019, the leaders of the G20 will gather in Osaka as Japan hosts the G20 Summit. Concurrent with the Summit meeting, the Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors’ Meeting, the Foreign Ministers’ Meeting, and other ministerial meetings will also be held at eight different locations throughout Japan, including the G20 Ministerial Meeting on Trade and Digital Economy.
During its presidency of the G20 Summit, the Japanese government is determined to carry out strong leadership in advancing discussions toward resolving the myriad issues now facing the international community.
Egypt’s participation in these preparatory meetings is very significant, for its presidency of the African Union (AU), in 2019.
The G20 Summit on Financial Markets and the World Economy is held every year to discuss the critical issues affecting the global economy, and it brings together the members of the G7 (France, the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, Japan, Italy, Canada and the European Union), as well as Argentina, Australia, Brazil, China, India, Indonesia, Mexico, the Republic of Korea, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, and Turkey.
