Cairo, Egypt – February 21, 2024: Cairo Festival City Mall (CFC Mall), the leading shopping and entertainment destination, successfully concluded screening the African Cup of Nations (AFCON) matches in its Fan Zone at the Amphitheatre. The Mall’s screening provided the audience with a truly immersive atmosphere – resembling a stadium-like experience.

This comes within Cairo Festival City Mall’s strategy to create exceptional customer experiences by bringing local and regional events to the mall, especially football-related events, for being the most favored by Egyptians.

From January 22nd to February 11th, a large number of spectators enjoyed watching matches at the Mall’s Fan Zone, enjoying the giant screen, while indulging in delicious food and snacks from various vendors creating a vibrant atmosphere of celebration for families and friends.

Heba Abdullah, Head of Marketing at Cairo Festival City Mall, said: “At CFC Mall, we are keen to offer a wide range of entertainment options that cater to the interests of all family members, with a special emphasis on sports events that are of particular interest to Egyptians.”

She further added: “The Mall has consistently offered a variety of unique entertainment events all year round. It also strives to provide an appealing and groundbreaking shopping environment that aims to ensure utmost customer satisfaction, thus solidifying its position as a premier shopping and entertainment destination in Egypt and the Middle East.”

It is worth noting that CFC Mall is highly keen on allowing visitors to enjoy and celebrate both regional and international sports tournaments. In 2018, the Mall offered fans the opportunity to witness the World Cup in a designated Fan Zone within the Amphitheatre, allowing them to experience the electrifying atmosphere and excitement of this significant tournament. Furthermore, in 2019, the Mall granted its visitors the opportunity to watch the African Cup of Nations matches through a live broadcast. Lastly, in 2022, the Mall warmly welcomed a staggering 90k customers at the CFCM Arena to watch the World Cup matches taking place in Qatar.
